I started as a volunteer at Somerford Grove Adventure Playground Haringey on Saturdays in 2020 before joining as a trustee in January 2021. I have worked with many young people including volunteering at a school in The Gambia in 2019 where I ran sessions inside and outside of the classroom and raised money to fund a new classroom and provide new school supplies. My professional career started in media and advertising where I have over 12 years experience, with my current role working for a social enterprise called Brixton Finishing School, as their Partnerships Director. In this role, I work with brands and media partners to help build a more equitable and diverse marketing and advertising industry by helping young people from underrepresented groups break into the field.
